We go to so many live concerts in a year. Many many of them. And at each one I tend to take a snippet or two of video- that said I’m not usually one to have my phone up the whole time. I also experiment with a handheld video recorder and continue to try to figure out whether it’s better than a phone. It can be tetchy, but it has so much memory I never run out.

What I have decided not to do any more is to try to write about the music. I run out of superlatives and for those concerts that I find fall flat or are uninspiring, I end up not recording them so they wouldn’t end up here anyway. OR, and this is important for bands to know, I may have been so into your music that I didn’t record it, preferring to live in the excellent moment. If I saw you and you know I was there, and you’re not on the blog, this says nothing about whether or not I loved your performance.

Therefore the best thing to do is just to use this blog as a compilation for concert footage. We have the capacity. May as well use it.
